The MAEER’s MIT World Peace Society, Pune, India and all its allied branches including the MIMSR Medical College at Latur is the fulfilment of the dreams of Prof. Dr. V. D. Karad, who is a visionary educationalist and also a pioneer in struggle for world peace and human rights.
The Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research MAEER Pune was established in 1983, to harness the knowledge of science and technology for the welfare of the society and has founded more than 70 institutions in various fields of science and education. The aims of MAEER are to provide the finest environment for teaching, learning, research, innovation and character building.

Management is committed to promote education to unserved and down trodden population. Management has firm belief in the ethos and culture of India which always worships the knowledge. MIMSR Medical College caters with the health needs of the rural masses through more tham 775 bedded Yashwantrao Chavan Rural Hospital and health extension activities.
Experienced faculty in various specialties give practical / clinical / and basic teaching to reach the objectives of value based training in fundamentals of medical Education to prepare medical graduates with necessary competence to shoulder the responsibility of best health care services to the community at large.

MIMSR Medical College & Hospital is run by MAEER Trust Pune-prestigious institute & body of international repute. Currently MIMSR is running MBBS course with an intake capacity of 150 students & postgraduate Degree Courses (MD/MS) in 15 specialties and PhD in three specialties.
MIMSR has state of the art infrastructure with well equipped 775 bedded hospital named as “YCRH” Yashwantrao Chavan Rural Hospital. It has all the basic and sophisticated facilities to cater the needy patients from backward areas of Marathwada region, with just, affordable charges. YCRH is having well equipped ICU, ICCU, SICU, NICU, PICU, Operation Theatres, Blood Bank and investigative backup in Radiology, Pathology, Microbiology and Biochemistry.
