Multi diagnostic Health checkup camps are regularly held since the beginning of this Institute.
The main objective is to conduct camps in rural & urban slums and to make available good health services to the poor & needy people.
We arrange various multi diagnostic camps in our identified 86 villages, camps during various festivals like, ganeshotsav, navratri. We also arrange special camps on Maharashtra Day (1st May), during local fares (Siddheshwar Yatra) and on occasion of local festivals.
Consultants from various disciplines are deputed for these camps. Students, and interns also participate in these camps. Minor problems are treated at local level while patients with major problems referred to MIMSR Medical College and Yashwantrao Chavan Rural Hospital, Latur.
Till date 373 camps are conducted and about 2 lakhs patients had been benefited of which 35000 were referred and treated successfully at MIMSR Medical College and Yashwantrao Chavan Rural Hospital, Latur.
Ayurvedic treatment is given during the camps as a special treatment.
